Marisa attended Georgia State University for her bachelor’s degree in anthropology where she had an opportunity to participate in an archaeological dig in which she uncovered ornamental beads known to be from the famous Spanish explorer, DeSoto. After her “Indiana Jones” days Marisa received her paralegal certification from Emory University and went on to work for many of the top litigation defense firms in Atlanta, specializing in tractor trailer accidents. After nearly ten years working in defense, Marisa decided to switch gears and comes to Gilormo Injury Law as the lead case manager. Combining her years of multitasking experience along with her top-notch customer service abilities, Marisa is able to support the firm’s attorney and clients.
